NATO contracts for many different products and services from clothing to chemicals to communication systems:

About $500 million annually is spent on construction projects. Another $500 million is spent on acquiring defense systems such as communications, CCIS, air defense (radars, displays, etc.), and force protection systems (force tracking, truck X-ray systems, and biometric identification systems). Another $200 million is spent of procuring airlift and other transport. Also, there are enterprise agreements for software and integrated logistics support contracts for NATO mission support.
