GOLF TOURNAMENT SHINES UNDER THREAT OF RAIN
GOLF TOURNAMENT SHINES UNDER THREAT OF RAIN
The rain held out and, under the weather circumstances, the 7th Annual SENEDIA Golf Tournament went off without a hitch and everyone really had a good time. The annual tournament with proceeds going to the SENEDIA Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship Fund was held at the Fenner Hill Gold Course. With an early shotgun start, over 30 teams took to the course. In the end, the MIKEL team took top honors with SEA CORP a close second followed by General Dynamics IT and RDSI. Smashing the longest drives were Mary O’Rourke and Joe Beck.
Gold tournament sponsors included ASFT, CBIZ Tofias, ChemArt, General Dynamic IT, General Physics, Inquest Technologies, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., Progeny, Raytheon and SEA CORP.
Gift Donations were provided by ASFT, ChemArt, Progeny, Rite Soluitons, McLaughlin Research Corporation and SAIC, with a special lunch provided by Fatulli’s Gourmet Bakery and Deli.
The event could not have been possible without the hard work of the Golf Committee directed by Conn Kelly with members: Mary O’Rourke, Dom Gargano, Harry Watson, Joe Beck, and Kathy Pazera and other volunteers Ally Hague and Lynn Gargano
A wildly successful tournament for a great cause to help our aspiring engineers, scientists and mathematicians through their undergraduate studies
