As a direct result of the 2005 Base Realignment And Closure (BRAC) Act, Rhode Island has seen a significant growth in
military operations and construction activity. This seminar will be an opportunity for Rhode Island construction trades and
small business suppliers to directly meet with Naval Station Newport and state officials to learn first-hand how to apply
and compete for contracts for government business.
