NEWPORT SDVOB/VOB MATCHMAKER EVENT NOV 13

 SENEDIA participated in the November 2008 Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Matchamket event.

The event was designed to provide a forum where small Veteran-Owned businesses could large and established small comapnies in order to give them a "jump start" is gaining business in the Defense sector.

SENEDIA had a tabletop display and was there to field questions ab out what our organization cna do to help these businesses. 

It also gave us a chance to talk with prospective SENEDIA mebers and discuss how membership oin SENEDIA is important in being "pligged in" to the local Defense network of companies.

 

 

 

As promised by Tim Foreman, Director of Small Business Programs for the Undersecretary of the Navy following last year's award-winning event, we are doing it again!

 

The NCMA RI Chapter along with the RI Procurement Technical Assistance Center at the RI Economic Development Corp. is sponsoring our Third SDVOB/VOB Matchmaker Event in Newport, hosed by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport.

 

This year's event is scheduled for Thursday, November 13th on base at Naval Station Newport, Officers' Club and we have an outstanding list of prime contractors as well as contracting officers from NUWC's Technical Codes, the US Coast Guard, the US Army, RI National Guard, and others. Once again, you will have an opportunity to meet with these representatives as well as hear from experts in the areas of Capture Management, Negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements, Business Entity Selection Criteria. Hear from those who "Cashed the Check" from last year's event and share their success secrets. Hear from veteran businesses about "Barrier Breaker" tactics for work and life.
